FAQ: How much sample material should be submitted for testing?

The quantity of sample material we require for our analysis depends on the relevant matrix, and also on the selection of test parameters. It is virtually impossible to provide a fixed formula. The following sample volumes could be taken as an initial guide, however:

  • For food in general: a minimum of 250 g per food item or 4 packs of a ready-for-sale product
  • For radiochemical testing: a minimum of 1 kg, or 1 L in the case of liquids
  • For GMO testing of crops, please send us a sample that roughly corresponds to 1000-kernel weight

Hygiene Testing

We can gladly assume responsibility for microbiological quality testing and the accompanying monitoring of your plant hygiene.
